i want to install windows xp pro and a c++ compiler on a usb 2 stick with 2 gigs of memory . will it bee enough space?

XP take a minimum of 3-4 gigs.
Unlikely you could do this even if there were enough space as it would be the same as trying to install it on a external hard drive.
I recommend finding a bigger flashdrive. Biggest flashdrive I know of is about 5-10 GB. I'd get one of those if you're serious about this.
You have no chance of doing that,,,, where you going to put the virtual memory needed by windows?
