you will have to burn the image as a CD using Nero or any other CD burning sofware. you cannot 'drag and drop an .iso file onto a CD/DVD and run the contents of the image from there. If you have Nero do the following. first copy the image onto your HD and then use Nero or and CD burning software and open the .iso file (you can also run the nero burning wizard that will guide you) its should then ask you to insert a blank CD/DVD then the image will be burned properly and you will be able to run setup and upgrade or fresh install etc.

Vista ultimate on cd, it is 2.5 to 2.7 gb. I don't know if what you are saying is true, but, however.

Burn the iso to a dvd with a dvd writer at a low speed like 16x, then install. :)

ANd remember there is no other safe way.

Also tell me how did u manage to get it on a 700mb cd !
