i recently downoaded windows XP PRO....now my windows media player will not work at all.....you click on the icon it tries to put it clicks off before it even loads up.

For newer versions to work you must have a legit copy installed.
Also, if you "downloaded" XP, most likely you're talking P2P...and you havent downloaded every single file that you were supposed to--the seeder left some out.
Best option, go to the MS website, and DL WMP11
