There are no features in Vista that you need so there's no point in upgrading to Vista!

But in general It will run slow on your computer, mostly because of your graphic card.

I don't think it would be a good idea. Yes, Vista will probably run on that system, but you will need to upgrade more than your ram to really have a fluid, enjoyable experience. My recommendation would be to wait to go Vista until you get your next system anyway.

Main weaknesses are single core processor and vid card, especially if you go Vista Home Premium. By the time you spend the money to get those upgrades, you're halfway to a new system already, assuming the Acer will even take upgrades. a lot of factory-built pc's are very picky about what you can put in them.
i dont thinke so
Do not spend on upgrading this computer because although it might run the vista, it definately be experiencing system crash from time to time. To run vista you require a better computer because it will not depend on the RAM or Video RAM upgrade. The motherboard chip sets will also matter. So why dont you dispose this old computer and buy a new branded machine to enjoy the benefits of the vista.

For better use of vista buy a computer that is atleast 3GHz processor speed, 512MB RAM.
Why don't you go to the Micro$oft site and have them check your system for compatibility for Vista ??

Whats wrong with your windows xp pro?

Vista will slow down your computer i think.

There is nothing extraordinary in vista that you need to upgrade anyway.

Stick with xp.
