I connected an Apple studio monitor to my win-xp pc and the picture is clear but everything is green

my pc is compaq running windows xp pro, I am also using a Nvidia Gforce 5500 graphics card the monitor is an Apple studio display 17" monitor (16" viewable) when the pc is hooked up to a regular monitor my picture and color are perfect but when it is hooked up to the Apple monitor the picture is good but everything is different shades of green and green only

tried aletering the contrast and saturation and all those other nifty osd options yet ?

and is it vga or dvi ?
