I want them to have this done independently! They should have their own sessions. Help! The clients access the server using windows XP Pro and one of them is Windows 2000

If you're talking about true remote connections, all with their own sessions, you only have one choice with 2003. You have to use terminal services, and purchase a license for each terminal service device. So, you'll have to light up terminal services, and pay Microsoft for the privilege....

You will have to create user accounts on the users local machines and then on the server share out the program. You will have to give the users access on the server so make sure that you set that up under the program properties. Depending on the application you might only have one person at a time to be able to use the app. also, on the user machines you will have to join them to the domain that you create off the server. www.microsoft.com has a couple good explanations. terminal services is fine and all, but why use that when you can run kerberos off the server and have better connection times.

here is a couple docs for you:

If you are going to have 5 concurrent users the only way is with Terminal Services, and you have to buy the CAL's before you can put it into application mode.
