Vista is pretty slick but it takes up SO much space and its slow no matter what kind of compy you have. Just wait it out. Windows XP SP3 will be coming out early 2008.

I don't recomend Vista it sucks is missing some patches and still I used to have XP now Vista I don't found the great thing Yet
XP sp2 is still fine for most people. But if you want DirectX 10 games and have the latest hardware to run them, then you need Vista as xp is stuck with DirectX 9.
