How can i determine what version of windows was used o installation?

I have windows xp pro installed but dont have the disks and am trying to find out what type of disks were used(retail, oem, ect...)



any ways to tell?

Did you buy the PC with XP already installed? If so then you'd probably have OEM - the easiest thing to do is look on the bottom of the PC and see if there is a label that reads "Windows XP Professional OEM" anywhere, with some numbers on it. If you have that label, that's your certificate of authenticity, which means it was pre-installed with an OEM version.



If you don't have that, then you probably had a retail version which had a box and disks.
