Use the call microsoft option when you click on the keys on the toolbar. Thsi will give you the 800 number to call and a long list of numbers. From there you will be given an operator to whom you explain that your hard drive crashed and you're re-installing the software. Of course, you'll want to explain what really happened.
The operator will give you a sequence of numebrs to enter and you'll be up and running in under 15 minutes.
Really though, it sounds like the software you're using has been used too many times. I authenticate between 4-6 computers a day and rarely get this message.

It must have been on another machine. Check out the site http://crackspider.net , you'll be able to find a new one there.
This is a know problem with the genuine Verification process that Microsoft does. The best thing is to call Microsoft and tell them that it is a genuine copy and that its the only machine you have used it on. It sucks because a lot of innocent folks are getting this messages
You probably need to transfer the key to a new machine. There is probably a support email where you do this at the microsoft website, or maybe call the customer service number, and they will give you a new cd key.
Contact techvillageonline@yahoo.com they'll fix you up cheap
