cause i got the windows vista home edition upgrade and it dosent support xp pro , so i need xp home edition or any thing that makes me upgrade to home edition

Vista Home Basic is not very good, you should get Vista Home Premium. It's unclear which one you bought.

If you format your drive with the XP disk and then put in the Vista disk you should be able to do a clean install from the Vista upgrade disk.
